Kovbojok (Cowboys)

Okay, this is gonna be a weird one. If you're from Hungary you're probably familiar with this band. They started by making songs on Youtube, and after some time they got popular. So, since I have a sense of humor and kinda like the style of this band, I decided to make a cartoon drawing for them.

Yeah, you might notice some slightly disgusting parts, but that's because this band sings about such things, but in a humorous manner. (The sign says "Poop town" and it's because their first album's name was "Poop Nuclear Power Plant".) I didn't mean it to be an album cover, nor did they actually ask for it, and I don't know if they ever going to use it for anything - I just made it for fun (they liked it by the way). Just for comparision, here's a picture of the band:

R.A.L.P.H.

Just to show you what to expect, here is a model I made for a friend of mine more than a year ago. He was planning to make a RTS game, and he asked me to make a lovable robot character which would function as a worker unit. I came up with the Repair And Lifting Practical Helper - R.A.L.P.H.

Yes, it might look like a cheap Wall-e ripoff, but I tried not to copy it entirely.
I don't know what else I can tell about this one, the goal was to make the model with normalmap and specularmap and as lowpoly as possible.
Well, I think this model was nice enough to show you, there will be more coming soon. As a closing of this post, here is another picture of an epic R.A.L.P.H. battle. :)

Ready or not, here I come

Good evening ladies and gents!

Well, I thought it's about time to post my own blog on the internets. Some of you (less than 0.1% of Earth's population) might already know who I am, but for those who don't, let me introduce myself.

My name is László Savanya, but I refer to Latka X-treme. I'm a CG artist, and that's exactly what I want to post here on my workshop. Drawings, models, sometimes tips and tutorials. I mainly like working in a game developer style, so you should expecting those kinda things.

Well I don't want to tell everything right in my first post, so just stay tuned and be prepared for some of my work. :)

Cheers
